Principal Luke Carter co-directs Harcourts Caloundra in partnership with his wife Katherine, operating an award-winning real estate business in the heart of Caloundra’s CBD with arguably the most immaculate shop front in busy Bulcock Street.
Luke has been in the real estate industry selling at elite level locally, state-wide, and nationally since he commenced his career in property sales back in 2006. Prior to working in sales, Luke proudly served our nation in the Australian Defence Force, a veteran of conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. During his seven years of service, he received an advanced trade in engineering, and also partook in leadership training, including completed an accredited frontline management course.
His time in the military equipped him with many life-skills that have greatly contributed not just to his ongoing success in this industry, but his capacity to deal with challenges, and his appreciation for the virtues of the Australian way of life, and the amazing lifestyle benefits regions such as the Sunshine Coast offer their residents.
Confident, focussed, intuitive, and motivated – Luke branched out and became the Principal of his own business around the time the Global Financial Crisis hit; the timing did not deter Luke, ever-positive and forward-thinking – whilst some in the industry didn’t survive the GFC, Luke and Katherine thrived, a testament to their level of skill, dedication, commitment, and ‘next-level’ service model.
An outstanding negotiator, acknowledged as one of the best in the industry, Luke has broken many street and suburb records, selling in excess of $1billion dollars of Sunshine Coast real estate so far in his career, and he has built up an extensive network of referrals that have continued to grow his business organically. He is widely acknowledged amongst the nation’s biggest brands, as an industry leader, and has been the recipient of multiple awards.
Luke is also a savvy marketer who runs polished marketing campaigns, and is personally always impeccably presented, very much the professional, who understands not just the importance of image, but backs it up with exceptional knowledge, authenticity, and actually delivering what he promises.
